To change things up

I have a Saturday appointment to get my hair done. For the first time in my life I will have black hair. In addition it will be a tight knit perm. I'm told it will take a good 4 hours.

I had a touch up today and asked if she could make my hair black. She said sure, but just thought I wanted color. I said "No, texture like yours". She had to consult with her colleagues and the older woman said it's not a problem.

If it does not work, it's a Sinead O'Connor look at the backup plan.
